Puttur: Tanker driver suffers cardiac arrest while driving, succumbs

Puttur, Jan 14: A tanker driver suffered cardiac arrest and died while driving the tanker. Luckily, the co-driver took control of the vehicle and prevented disaster. The incident occurred at Uppinangady.

Kishore Kumar (53) is the driver who died of cardiac arrest while on the steering wheel. Kishore is a resident of Kavoor in Mangaluru. On Thursday, he was driving the tanker from Bengaluru to Mangaluru.

As the tanker reached Uppinangady, Kishore suffered cardiac arrest. The co-driver who was seated beside him, immediately took control of the steering wheel and brought the vehicle to halt. He then took Kishore to hospital, where the doctors declared Kishore as brought dead.

A case is filed according to the complaint given by Nishant Shetty.
