Mangaluru: Two arrested for carrying MDMA drugs, goods worth Rs 95,000 seized

Mangaluru, Jan 14: Ullal police arrested two persons carrying MDMA drugs and recovered Rs 95,000 worth goods from them after way laying them at the Ucchila Reliance petrol bunk.

The accused arrested are identified as Mohammed Khalid (39), a resident of Azadnagar 1st cross in Ullal and Likith (21), a resident of Manjeshwara.

The Ullal police arrested the two when they were trying to sell the banned drugs at Ucchila in Someshwar.

Both of them were on a scooter carrying a packet containing the MDMA drug and were going towards the Ucchila Reliance petrol bunk from Talapady when the police waylaid them and caught them.

The police seized 10 grams of MDMA, a scooter valued at Rs 50,000 and a mobile phone handset worth Rs 25,000 from the accused persons.

Ullal police have registered a case of attempt to murder and drug peddling against the arrested persons.
