Kasargod: Health department makes masks compulsory in Kerala

Kasargod, Jan 18: The department of health here ordered that masks are mandatory in the state. The orders state that masks are essential at public places, buses, vehicles, commercial complexes and places of work. It also orders to maintain social distance during public programmes.

The restrictions are part of those being imposed across the country as new variant of Covid was detected. Sanitizer also is made mandatory along with the mask. The health department stated that the restrictions are imposed as precautions.
