Mangaluru: Docs, medical students in drug cases relieved from duty, suspended – Police chief

Mangaluru, Jan 20: Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said, “The private medical college dean met me and informed that seven students have been suspended and two doctors have been relieved from their contract in connection to the drug peddling and consuming case.

“Total 15 have been arrested so far including 13 doctors and medical students. The private college dean has submitted a representation showing zero tolerance towards drug menace and assured full cooperation with the police department.

“We have detained another few pertaining to the case and enquiring them,” he said.
