Mangaluru, Jan 20: Chittapur MLA and KPCC publicity committee president Priyank Kharge and former MLA B A Mohiuddin Bava handed over a cheque of Rs one lac from the personal fund of the former MLA to the family of police constable Hanumantha who died on duty due to heart attack recently.
Bagalkot based Hanumantha staying at Panambur police quarters had died when on duty at Kavoor police station.
Surathkal block Congress president Umesh Dandakeri, Gurpura block Congress president Surendra Kambali, former deputy mayor Bashir Bykampady, KPCC minority unit organizing secretary Harris Bykampady, Sharif Bokkapatna, Jaleel Badria, SC/ST morcha president Mallikarjuna Kodikal, Aboobacker Paradise, Prahlad and others were present.
