Mangaluru, Jan 20: Congress leader Priyank Kharge visited the residence of late Jaleel who was ruthlessly murdered by miscreants recently. He handed over to the family of Jaleel a cheque of Rs one lac donated by former MLA Mohiuddin Bava and consoled them.

Bava who gave details of the murder of Jaleel to Priyank said that the murder accused were released on bail within three months after the murder. He alleged that the BJP government is responsible for it. He said that their government will come to power and put an end to such brutal murders.

The father of Jaleel said that such incidents should not reoccur and the killers should be severely punished.

Surathkal block Congress president Umesh Dandekeri, Gurpur block Congress president Surendra Kambali, former deputy mayor Bashir Bykampady, KPCC minority unit organizing secretary Harris Bykampady, Sharif Chokkabettu, Jaleel Badria, SC/ST mocha president Mallikarjuna Kodikal, Aboobacker Paradise, Prahlad and others were present.
