Bantwal: BJP’s Gram Vikas Yatre starts under leadership of MLA Rajesh Naik

Bantwal, Jan 20: BJP’s Gram Vikas Yatre ‘Gramadedege Shasakara Nadige’ (the walk of the MLA towards the village) started from the historic Tirumala Venkataramanaswamy temple on the banks of Netravati river under the leadership of MLA Rajesh Naik on January 20.

The MLA held a public meeting at Neerapade, near Shambhoor on Jan 19, stayed at the residence of BJP worker Mallika Shetty at night and started the walk early morning on January 20 after the pooja.

Former MLA Padmanabha Kothary, Keonics president Harikrishna Bantwal, water supply and drainage board director Sulochana G K Bhat, Buda president Devadas Shetty, Bantwal president Devappa Poojary, Zilla panchayat former member Tungappa Bangera, Kamalakshi Poojary, rally convener Madhava Mave, Sudarshan Baja, temple managing trustee Ashok Shenoy, trustee Bhami Nagendranath Shenoy, Bhami Narayan Senoy, Nagendra V Baliga, Girish Pai, Ravindra Prabhu, Giridhar Baliga, Mahesh Baliga, Ramanath Pai, Rekha Pai, Shashikala, Meenakshi Gowda, Suresh Kulal, Ramdas Bantwal, Udayakumar Rao, municipal council members, gram panchayat president, members, block committee heads and thousands of party workers walked in the rally.

Mangaluru MLA Vedavyas Kamath also took part in the rally.
