Udupi: Valedictory programme of Co-curricular Clubs at St Mary’s Eng Med School held

Udupi, Jan 22: The valedictory programme of the co-curricular Clubs of the school was held on January 19, 2023 at St Marys Auditorium. The programme commenced with a prayer dance performed by the members of Wellbeing club.

The members of Fine Arts club welcomed the Guests through variety of dance. Sunitha Rao outlined the activities of various clubs functioning in the school. The members of Red Cross, Scouts & Guides, Bulbuls, Consumer club, Cultural club and Bunnies presented Group songs, Skits, Demonstrations, and Dances depicting the guiding values of their Clubs. Heritage club shouldered the responsibility of Stage decoration.

The NCC cadets maintained the order and discipline. The Nature and Fine arts club decorated the entrance thematically. Placards prepared by Language club were displayed in the Auditorium.

Walter D'Souza, the member of the school management committee and the senior administrative staff was the Chief Guest of the programme. Addressing the students, he said that the life skills inculcated through various activities of the Clubs make students confident and proactive. The members of Toast Masters; club anchored the programme.

The YSM club members extended the words of gratitude through a song. The correspondent Fr Charles Menezes, principal Fr Johnson Sequeira and vice principal Rita Quadros were present on the occasion.
