Mumbai: Saphalya Seva Sangha celebrates 82nd anniversary

Mumbai, Jan 23: The 82nd anniversary of Saphalya Seva Sangha was celebrated at Bantara Bhavan, Kurla east on January 22. President of the sangha, Srinivas P Saphalya presided over the meeting.

Guests of honour, dignitaries, well known actor Gautham Bangera Dubai, Harshad Safaliga, Vijay Ameen, Sanjana Mohan Kunjathoor, Nisha Kellaputhige, Thejas Salian, Nishanth Bangera, Sanath Sherigar, Vrishti Salian and Rohith Sivarama Salian were present in the inauguration.

Office bearers Krishna Kumar Bangera, Shobha Bangera, Hemanth Saphalya, Kala Bangera and Sandhya Putran were on the dais. The guests felicitated special achievers of the Saphalya Samaja Shailesh Putran, Govinda Safaliga and Prabhaker Kunder and distributed prizes to the winners of the sangha’s sports competitions held in 2022. Aishwarya Safaliga and Pramila Sherigar read the list of winners.

Retired KAS officer R Nagaraja Shetty, chief guest released the souvenir of the sangha. Community leaders Shanker Safaliga, B Balachandra Rao, Sanjay Mulkikar and Bhoja Safaliga were on the dais during the concluding programme.

Special achievers of Saphalya Samaja in various sectors, Dr Sunita M Shetty, Chaitra Kalladka, Samatha Ameen, Sunita J Ullal, Gautham Bangera, Adarsha B Attavar, Bhasker Edapadav, Ramadas Someshwar, G S Gurupura, Jayananda Peraje, Jagannath Karkera, Leeladhar Bangera, Krishnakumar Bangera, Shobha Bangera, Ravikanth Safaliga, Pratik Karkera and Sunita Jayanth Ullal were felicitated.

Members and children conducted cultural programmes. Kiran Kumar Safaliga welcomed. Nireeksha Bangera performed a welcome dance. Shwetha Bangera gave an introduction. Office bearers and executive committee members honoured the guests. Vaishnavi Safaliga and Dinesh Rai compered the programme. Bhasker Safaliga rendered a vote of thanks.
