Puttur: Orientation programme held at St Philomena College

Puttur Jan 24: An orientation programme for postgraduation students, Centre for PG Studies & Research, St Philomena College, Puttur under the auspice of PG student welfare committee was held at PG seminar hall, of the college.

Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of the college, presided over the programme and said that the students should focus mainly on their attitude, personality and language and be able to incorporate mental, physical and spiritual perspectives meaningfully. He further stated that students should concentrate on training their heart, brain and body through an involvement in Curricular, Co-curricular and Extracurricular activities.

The programme started with the prayer by Shriraga, Arpitha and group. Pruthvi, assistant proffesor, department of commerce, compered the programme. Prof Ganesh Bhat, vice principal of the college, was present during the occasion.

Shreeraksha and Prathibha K, assistant prof, department of commerce and social work welcomed the gathering. Sheetal Kumar K V, coordinator of PG student welfare committee, proposed the vote of thanks.
