Five Killed in Pakistan Drone Strike


Islamabad, June 4 (IANS) At least five suspected militants were killed when US drones fired missiles Friday night at a hideout in northwest Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, Xinhua reported.

The drone strike took place in Wana area of South Waziristan, according to Urdu TV channel Dunya.

Friday's strike by drones was the 33rd of its kind in Pakistan this year. A total of 239 people - most of whom are believed to be militants - have reportedly been killed in these strikes.
