Mumbai, Jun 4 (PTI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today said that his government was committed to set up a National Law School in the state.
Speaking at a meeting to discuss preparations for celebrating the 150th year of Bombay High Court, Chavan said the celebrations would commence from August 14 and go on for an entire year.
Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Mohit Shah was present at the meeting.
Among the issues discussed were case display facility to be prepared by the Nagpur Bench of the High Court, linking all courts in the state through computers, implementing the Shetty Commission's recommendations for judicial employees, creation of additional posts, taking steps to use Marathi in court work and setting up of the National Law School.
