BJP Hits Out at Digvijay Singh for Ramdev-RSS Remarks

Lucknow, June 4 (IANS) Hitting out at Digvijay Singh for calling yoga guru Baba Ramdev an agent of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain Saturday said the Congress general secretary has no right to make such a comment as he is not a party spokesperson.

"He (Digvijay) must tell whose agent is he and who has made him the agent. He is not the spokesperson of the Congress, so how is he making such comments?" the Bharatiya Janata Party leader asked.

Hussain went on to term Digvijay Singh as the general secretary of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Digvijay Singh earlier in the day questioned Ramdev's "strong affiliations with RSS".

"The foot soldiers in the fast are from the RSS. It is evident that he (Ramdev) is piggybacking on the RSS," he said.

    After a long time this Pastor/Poloitician E.W.Frank has surfaced again with his political views!What is worng if yoga guru Baba Ramdev interfers in politics for good of the soceity.Then why Pastor should give his political openion here?What is wrong in Baba Ramdev being respected by politicians which he has not sought for.After all he has keept the politicians out of his struggle.It is good that Pastor has agreed that Baba Ramdev is a common man/Indian citizen like him.In that case what is wrong in doing satyagraha to a cause which so important for the citizens of this nation.What is worng if Baba Ramdev has so much wealth which was made by legitimate/non corrupt ways that too for the trust benificial for crores of people.He do not have to accumulate wealth for his familiy as he is a humble sanyasi.I feel that no body need to advise him on abiding the law of this country as he is totally committed to patriotism by word,deed and action.It is strange that that Pastor sees the reason of satyagraha by Baba Ramdev as 'for silly 'reasons! If at all the strikers should be put behind the bars,then he may be expexting proclamation of emergency for obvious reasons! He should remember that ours is a republic India!

    Why Mr. Ramdev Yoga guru should interfere with politics. Let him continue to do his yoga. I do not know why these senior politicians are respecting so much? I cant understand. He has made money enough and now he want to show how great he is. He is as ordinary as any one of us. I respect him as an Indian citizen like me. Let us all mind our own business. Daiji you better publish this am for the truth and justice. We have good leaders in both Congress, BJP and JDS but all are selfish. Americans after the election they forget the difference, why not we Indians. Let us abide by the law of our country of India. There should not be any strikes for silly reasons. All strikers should be put to prison for atleast ten years.
