Udupi, Jan 26: Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Udupi District Administration in association with MIT MAHE, have organized online CET NEET JEE free training and coaching for government Pre university college students of Udupi District.
Online coaching centre “GELUVU” broadcasting studio placed at Zill panchayat Udupi was inaugurated by Udupi district in charge minister S Angara, minister of fisheries, ports and inland transport and advised the students to make use of the best use of the resources and center and the same can be utilized to train youths of Udupi District in skill development and competitive examinations.
Raghupati Bhat, MLA Udupi, Srinivas Shetty, MLA Kundapur, Lalaji R Mendon, MLA Udupi, Zilla panchayat CEO Prasanna, MIT director cdr Dr Anil Rana, program coordinator Dr Balakrishna Maddodi of MIT and Anitha Madlur from social welfare department were present on the occasion.
MIT is supporting the initiative of the Zilla Parishad to provide expert coaching for competitive exams to the students from under-privileged section of the society. Selected best faculties from MIT Manipal and Government pre–University College Udupi District who are well versed in CET, JEE and NEET coaching are conducting online classes from the studio placed at Manipal DC office.
The programme will be broadcasted to all 28 government college and few government grant-in-aid institutions of Udupi District. Faculties from department biotechnology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics are involved in CET NEET training programme. The programme was well appreciated by district in-charge minister and all MLAs of Udupi District who, thanked MIT for supporting them.
Udupi Zilla Panchayat CEO Prasanna IAS gave an insight of this online programme and briefly explained the concept of this coaching model. He also said that in association with MIT spoken English classes, Training on Skill development, awareness & education on various programme focusing on youth's and students will be organized.
