Mangaluru, Feb 1: Unity Academy of Education celebrated lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of 24th batch of BSc Nursing and 34th batch of GNM students on February 1 at Unity Academy of Education, Ashoknagar.
Surgeon commander Manoj George Varghese, medical superintendent, Unity Hospital was the chief guest of the programme and inspired students with his motivational words.
The programme was presided by trustees Yenepoya Ajmal and Ashfaq M Habeeb.
The oath reciting was done by Synthia Dsouza, Nursing superintendent Unity Hospital. Dr Raja A, principal, Devaraj general manager Operations, Pro G Chithra vice principal were present on the dais. Priya Lolita, associate professor welcomed the gathering and Ranjini, assistant lecturer gave vote of thanks. The programme became successful by inspiring the new student nurses for their noble profession.
