Mangaluru Feb 4: Kalakar Riyaz Ashraf a renowned singer, writer and artiste, passed away on Saturday February 4. He was 50.
Riyaz was a renowned name in the Beary culture and art where he had gained lot of popularity. Suffering from health issues, Riyaz was being treated in a private hospital for the past 15 days.
He was well versed in Kannada, Hindi, Tulu, Malayalam, Beary language and used to compere events with ease in different languages.
Riyaz is survived by wife and four children.
