New Delhi, Jun 8 (IANS): The police have arrested three youths for gangraping a 25-year-old woman in the national capital, while two others are on the run, an officer said on Tuesday.
The woman and two other girls were attacked by a five-member gang of youths in Delhi Cantonment area Saturday night, a senior police officer said.
The youths, in their early 20s, pulled the three into their car near the Central Park around 8 pm. They pushed the two girls out of the car and took the woman into a flat in Raghuvir Nagar where they raped her, the officer said.
The woman was later left on the road and the attackers fled.
After she informed the police, three men - Rakesh, Govind and another Rakesh - were arrested on Tuesday.
The police are on the trail of the absconding duo, the officer added.
