Mangaluru: IAHS holds Biorangoli competition at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Feb 6: With the blessings of A Shama Rao, founder of Srinivas University, under the guidance of Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor of Srinivas University and Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable pro chancellor of Srinivas University.

Institute of Allied Health Sciences (IAHS), Srinivas University, Mukka organized Biorangoli competition on February 4 at 10:00 am onwards in 3rd Floor Medical Block Srinivas University, Mukka.

The programme was witnessed by Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable pro-chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr P S Aithal, vice–chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (Development), Dr Uday Kumar, dean SIMS&RC, Dr Beena H B, dean, IAHS and Prof Pavana Krishnamoorthy, Dean, IAHS.

The theme for the event was 'Biorangoli' and 15 teams from IAHS participated in this event and displayed their talent in drawing rangoli on various topics to anatomy subject.

Judges for the event were Dr Vanitha, assistant professor, department of Anatomy and Dr Gajanana, assistant professor, department of anatomy.

Results:

Winners were Fathima, Nandana KV and Sana (BSC AOT), Runners up were Surya, Akash & Pallavi( MSC AOT) and consolation prize was awarded to Team 1 (Devengana, Sreelakshmi CB and Adithya from BSC FS) and Team 2 (Sreeyuktha and Afeela BSC Neuroscience). The prize awarded to the students by the Deans of SUIAHS.

Organizer of the event was Sahana Patil, assistant professor, department of anatomy.
