Mangaluru, Feb 6: St Agnes CBSE School organised the valedictory programme for the outgoing batch of grade X. It was truly a touching moment to say goodbye to the students who have learnt and gained knowledge in this esteemed institution.

A meticulous programme was organised for the students with a thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration by Fr Roopesh Madtha. Through his lively sermon he shared a deep knowledge about life and its true meaning. He took the examples of kite and butterfly to instil values in students. Each student was offered special prayers in preparation for their future.

The students of grade IX gave a spectacular programme to their seniors making them feel their presence would be deeply missed. They were given a grandeur welcome followed by a meaningful prayer service depicting symbols of clock, elephant, candle etc and the melodious prayer songs. The lesson for life was depicted in their meaningful skit and dance performance. The lovely songs sung related to student life brought back some memories to recollect.

The students of grade X were too emotional to express their gratitude to their beloved teacher Nayana who will retire from her teaching service. They presented a memento and sang a lovely song to give an aura that she would be missed.
Nishelle Pinto and Manasa Prabhu of grade X shared their memories in school from teaching to sports, from studies to recreation all the days were put forth in a nutshell by the students.

The students of grade IX Sweedal and Archana too expressed a few words of gratitude to their seniors and assured that the benchmark which they have set would be followed and take their guidance as motivation towards future.

The chief guest Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes AC expressed her gratitude for inviting her and she to advised the students to take measured steps. She urged the students to make choice that gives happiness in life and lead life to the full, never to be dejected. She wished them luck for their future.

The principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC too gave a brief advice on life. She showed an inspirational video on life of a Kite. She urged the students to create an own story of life, she said to learn to be oneself. Live a principled life and be worthy of trust were some words of wisdom shared to students.

The students of grade X were presented with a memento in the end.

The programme was compered by Vibha Mascarenes, the gathering was welcomed by Tanvi. The vote of thanks was proposed by Arya Shree thanking everyone for their presence and cooperation.

Batchwise photographs were clicked to save as memories. A fellowship meal was organised on this occasion to the students of grade X, staff and non-teaching staff.

The management congratulated the principal and staff for organising the programme and students for their participation and wishing good luck for future.
