Udupi residents Lerisa D’Souza, Vasudev Tilak selected for national-level elocution contest

Udupi, Feb 8: Vasudev Tilak, a first year student of Vaikunta Baliga Law College, Udupi has bagged the second prize in the state-level online – virtual mode speech as part of National Yuva Samsat Festival – 2023. He spoke on the subject "Women’s safety in India – challenges and solutions".

Similarly Lerisa D’Souza, a student of Manipal Mass communication and media bagged the third prize for her speech on the subject, "Weather changes, reduction of the dangers of calamities, making stability as a path of life."

“Both of them have been selected to participate in the national-level Yuva Samsat Festival – 2023 that will be held at Sansad Bhavan, New Delhi, during the last week of this month,” said national-level Yuva Kendra district youth coordination officer in a press release.
