Panjab University BCA 1st yr Results: 3 Varsity Toppers from Ludhiana


Ludhiana, Jun 9 (Bhaskar): The Panjab University (PU) announced the results of BCA first-year on Wednesday. Students from Ludhiana bagged the top three spots in the merit list.

Gopi Sharma of SCD College stood first in PU with 82.87 per cent followed by DD Jain College's Deepika who secured 82. 50 per cent marks.

Arshdip and Reema, both students of the Khalsa College for Women, occupied the third slot in the merit list.
 
All Ludhiana colleges fared well in the BCA exam.

DD Jain College has four toppers in the district and two at the university level. All students of the SCD College passed with first division.

Wat topper's say

An ecstatic Gopi Sharma, who bagged the first position in PU, told Dainik Bhaskar that he studied every day for three-four hours.

Gopi said topping the university was the result of his consistent labour, adding that he continue working hard and become a successful IT professional.

Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Deepika said she had aimed at securing 80 per cent but was extremely happy to have got 82 per cent.

Deepika, whose favourite subject is Mathematics, wants to pursue MCA.

Arshdeep said she wants to join the IT industry and has special interest in software development.
