Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School organises demonstration on fire safety

Mangaluru, Feb 9: St Agnes CBSE School organised the fire safety awareness to the students and staff on February 7 and they enthusiastically participated in this programme and enhanced their knowledge on fire safety.

The team from fire department Pandeshwar under the able guidance of Bharath Kumar gave a spectacular demo on fire safety. Safety instructions were given to the students and teachers on how to evacuate the building. The students then assembled at the ground and further demonstrations were given on how to use fire extinguishers and the knowledge on how to treat the casualties and precautions taken to move towards safe zone.

The students and teachers volunteered in the demo and made the programme a success.

Dora cordially welcomed the team from the department and the spectacular gathering of teachers, students, principal and vice principal. Chandrika proposed the vote of thanks thanking everyone for their wonderful participation. She expressed her gratitude to the team for giving the demo and also thanked the principal for organising this meaningful session.

The management congratulated the principal for initiating the event and expresses gratitude to the team of fire department for the success of the event.
