Brahmavar, Feb 10: Stargazing activity was held at SMS English medium school, Brahmavar for the students and parents. The programme was organized by Aryabhata mobile planetarium under the leadership of Madhu Shree and Nandan.
Students and parents enthusiastically participated in the stargazing activity and watched the movements of stars.
Prameela D’souza, vice principal welcomed the gathering. Madhushree and Nandan explained about the stars movement, Mars and Jupiter. The audience were also introduced to UR Rao, a renowned astronomer from Udupi.
More than 1,500 students and parents participated in the programme.
