Andhra Pradesh: Over 80 per cent Students Clear EAMCET


Hyderabad, Jun 9 (PTI): Over 80 per cent of students have qualified in the Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) in Andhra Pradesh this year.

Out of the 2,69,988 candidates who appeared for the engineering stream, 2,22,857 have qualified. This is 82.54 per cent, official sources said.

For the medicine, 65,736 had appeared and 55,995 have qualified, which is 85.18 per cent.

The results were announced on Thursday. The EAMCET was held for 160 questions on May 22 but scores were adjusted for 159 questions in both the streams, as one question was erroneous.
