Mangaluru: Jewellery staff murder case - Police release suspected killer’s photograph

Mangaluru, Feb 11: Police released one more CCTV camera shot of suspected killer of Jewellery shop murder case that occurred at Hampankatta. The police have sought public’s help to nab the killer.

The photo which is released by the police is from the CCTV footage of a different mall.

In the photograph, it can be seen that the accused is wearing black t-shirt, blue jeans pant, black face mask and spectacles. He also has a black bag with him.

The killer had arrived to the jewellery shop in the guise of a customer at around 3.30 pm on February 3 and stabbed on the neck of salesman Raghavendra Acharya, looted gold ornaments and escaped from the shop.

The police who are searching for the murderer has sought the help of public.

    Does he have black pigmentation(stains) on his face? or Just an artifact? If they are black stains/burns does he work in a field where people are exposed to chemicals/smoke/welding/Garage? Why is he wearing mask in the mall? To hide his identity?

    Police department can release a photo or sketch of the individual by using the computerized model(With mask removed) based on facial configuration or sketch for the public. Someone will definitely identify him. Also if he has used his credit card in any shops in the mall(Based on photos in CC TV) the credit card can be traced and also check what did he purchase(Before or after the alleged crime)
