Mangaluru, Feb 11: A fast food outlet went up in flames due to electrical short circuit at Kumpala Balakrishna Mandira.

Friends and residents of Kumpala Ashraya colony Mohini and Deekshita were running this outlet, which they had started on loan. They were living a self-reliant life due to this business, which they carried out in the evening hours. Their life is devastated because of the fire mishap.

A gas cylinder of the refrigerator burst due to the fire and a huge gape was made in the wall of the building. Locals gather together and put off the fire. Fire service personnel who arrived on the spot prevented the fire from spreading to nearby shops.

Officials of Someshwara town municipality and Ullal police station personnel visited the spot and are investigating further.
