Karkala: Lok Adalat reunites couple separated for five years

Karkala, Feb 13: Lok Adalat brought happiness once again into the lives of a couple who were living separately for five years.

Mega Lok Adalat was organized in court of the city on Saturday, February 11. A couple who were separated for five years united once again and left the court premises happily.

Shwetha, a native of the taluk had married BMTC bus driver and resident of Koramangala in May 2008. They were living happily at Koramangala. However, after five years of marriage, issues started cropping up in their marital life. However, they still continued living together till 2018 and they had a son also.

In 2019, Shwetha, resident of Ajekaru filed a case under family harassment act in the second additional civil court of the city. As the matter was in inquiry stage, both parties had applied to National Janata Adalat.

Shwetha and her estranged husband Dhanshekhar were united once again by justice Komala of second additional civil court, lawyer Sushimta Puranik, who acted as the compromiser, lawyer Mamatha and Sampat Kumar Nakre, lawyers for Shwetha and Dhanshekhar.

Both Shwetha and Dhanshekhar said that National Janata Adalat has brought happiness in their marital life once again. They expressed confidence of living together by understanding one another in a proper manner.

    MH Rashid.SA.yes dislikes cant be avoided .Like some Sanghis.Pro and contras.forget it.Ifind they are united after five years .good for son too.Hope they will continue to understand each other further.A unity to Valentines day .May God bless them and keep them happy for long time.
