Rishab Shetty wins 'Most Promising Actor' award at Dadasaheb Phalke Int'l Film Festival 2023

Mangaluru, Feb 16: Writer, director and actor of blockbuster pan-India film ‘Kantara’, Rishab Shetty won the Most Promising Actor Award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023. He has received the award for his role in Kantara, which has grossed over Rs 400 crore worldwide.

The film was praised for the performance and for Tulunadu tradition shown, including the Bhoota Kola ritual. The award ceremony will be held on Monday, February 20 in Mumbai at Taj Land End Hotel.

The multi-talented star recently got the opportunity to feast with Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. The film recently completed 100 days at theatres.
