Mangaluru, Feb 17: Mangalore University has awarded PhD in Chemistry to Edwin D'Souza, associate professor in Chemistry of St Philomena College Puttur for his thesis 'Investigation and Mechanistic Study of some of the bio-active molecules by electro chemical sensors: A Voltametric Study'.
He was guided by Dr J G Manjunatha, Department of Chemistry, Field Marshal K M Cariappa College, Madikeri.
Dr Edwin D'Souza is the son of the late Joseph D'Souza and the late Juliana D'Souza of Milagres cathedral. He did his education-primary, high school and college in Milagres Educational Institutions. For few years he served as leturer in Milagres College as lecturer.
