Islamabad, June 11 (IANS) The Rawalpindi anti-terrorist court (ATC) Saturday reissued an arrest warrant against former president Pervez Musharraf in former prime minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination case, The Dawn reported.

Bhutto was assassinated during an election rally in December 2007 in Pakistan's Rawalpindi city.

The court also asked for all details of the former president's property.

The case was being heard in the Adiyala Jail by ATC special Judge Rana Nisar Ahmed.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had requested the court to issue a permanent warrant for Musharraf.

The FIA request also entailed the confiscation of Musharraf's property.

During the hearing, Director General FIA Malik Iqbal apologised for attempting to change the investigation officer in the Benazir Bhutto murder case. He, moreover, told the court that investigation officer Khalid Rasool was still heading the probe in the case.

Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing to June 25.

On May 30, an anti-terrorism court in Pakistan declared former president Pervez Musharraf a "proclaimed offender" or fugitive for failing to cooperate in the probe into the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Judge Rana Nisar Ahmed of the Rawalpindi-based court declared Musharraf a fugitive on the request of the FIA.

The proceeding were held in the Adiyala Jail due to security reasons.
