Mangaluru, Feb 20: The Costa Rehabilitation Center, was launched at Yermar in Neerude here on Monday, February 20.
Costa Rehabilitation Center will provide therapies for Alzheimer's, Spinal Cord injury patients, and stroke patients. It also has a deaddiction center, physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy among others. Training to families will be given on the same day so that the patient can carry on with their routine activities with ease.
Brother Joseph Crasta Founder Snehalaya Institute, Jardin D'Souza, Bonaventure Nazareth, founder of Alzheimers Association, Venkataramana Prakash, PDO; Kamalaksha N, secretary; Praveen Tauro, marketing manager of Daijiworld Pvt Limited, Sudhakar Poojary, Sr Lenny D'Costa and others were present on the occasion.
The trustees Santhosh D' Costa, Lenus Sequeira, Sarita D'Costa, Rajendra Shetty and Bhaskar Salian.
The center is established in memory of Juliana.
The prayers were led by Sr Lenny D'Costa the occasion.
Santhosh D' Costa proposed a vote of thanks.
Fr Jerry Sequeira Mulki had blessed the centre on Sunday, February 19.
