Beltangady, Feb 21: H Krishnaiah Laila, state award winner, Doordarshan and All Indi Radio (AIR) artiste passed away due to brief illness at his residence. His final rites will be held at 11 am on Tuesday February 21.
A public homage will be paid to late Krishnaiah on February 21 at 5 pm at Beltangady bus station. This programme is organized by Samudaya Beltangady, Utsahi Yuvaka Mandala Laila, Taluku Yuvajana Okkuta Beltangady, Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (Ambedkar) and Best Foundation Beltangady.
Sujit Ujire, lecturer and convener of Samudaya Beltangady has requested public to take part in the final rites as well as homage programme of late Krishnaiah Laila in large numbers.
