Kuwait: Dream Events Q8’s Retro Nite 2011 – A Resounding Success

Kuwait, Jun 13: Disco lights, pony tails, bell bottoms, side locks ….Yes, RETRO NITE had it all, and all enthusiastic retro lovers re-lived the dazzling era of timeless tunes… as promised by the organizers. ‘Dream Events Q8’ is an association founded and formed by DJ Kiran Sunny, and is backed up by Jaison Lasrado. The launch of the association was a total success, and the maiden event presented by Retro Nite was witnessed by a packed house of enthusiastic retro lovers in their dazzling retro outfits. This event was organized for a cause to support the poor families and underprivileged groups, who are unable to meet their educational needs.
The Pro DJ's Kiran, Marlon, John and Flames, as well as singer, Bryan, kept the retro lovers on the dance floor throughout the programme with foot-thumping music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and the 90s, which then transcended into the music of the 20th and 21st century. The stage was also shared by the 'Retro King', Jason, and 'Retro Queen', Marcia D'souza. Dr Nuna Goel, who was the main event sponsor, crowned the Retro King and Retro Queen. They were felicitated by DJ Kiran Sunny, who happens to be the president of Dream Events Q8. Runners Up spots went to Mithun Soni and Neha. MC Jaison Lasrado compered the programme, and kept the audience completely tuned in throughout the course of the evening.
A sumptuous buffet and great sets of music brought the curtains down on an evening of fun and frolic, leaving the guests yearning for more. A slide show of sponsors was projected throughout the event. A word of advice for those who did not get an opportunity to attend the show due to the event being house full - they can stay geared up for the next upcoming event by Dream Events Q8, and make sure they grab their tickets well in advance .
