Lahore, Jun 14 (PTI) Shahid Afridi's controversial sacking as captain is expected to dominate the governing body meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board scheduled to be held here on June 22.
Even though, Afridi issue is not in the official agenda of the meeting, the governing body members are expected to seek explanation from PCB chairman Ijaz Butt about the matter which has snowballed into a major controversy in the country.
"The governing body members can ask the chairman to brief them on the issue as it is of great importance to the Board," a PCB source said.
"The Pakistan team manager, Intikhab Alam is also a member of the governing board and will be attending the meeting so one can expect Afridi to dominate the meeting.
