AAP tripled liquor shops in Delhi, reduced dry days: BJP

New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS): Launching a scathing attack on the AAP, the BJP on Tuesday said under the scrapped excise policy, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia tripled number of liquor shops and reduced dry days.

Addressing a joint press conference, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi and Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva said: "The party which claimed that it would bring in a new politics, did not even hesitate to open liquor shops near schools and residential areas. Thousands of lives were ruined due to alcohol."

"You would not have seen any such example where a government is providing a liquor bottle free of cost on purchase of one bottle," he added.

It’s a normal constitutional procedure for a govt servant to resign while a case has been filed till he clears his name unlike BJP leaders who never resign while the case is in the court because they are sure of not winning the case. This is the second freedom struggle for India and its leaders have to go to jail for the right cause defying the corrupt rule of ruling govt.

This type of media campaign gives advantage to BJP by creating false impression of opponents and creates lot of doubts on ordinary people. When this happens the affected victim should quickly clarify the matter and prove BJP wrong outright to discourage BJP from spreading fabricated news without evidence. For now matter is subjudice under investigation any statement or comment related to this matter is illegal by anyone and govt should be well aware of this. This could influence the outcome of the case.
