Mangaluru: National Science Day celebrated at St Agnes High School

Mangaluru, Mar 1: National Science Day was celebrated based on the theme Global Science for global well being at St Agnes High School.

The programme began with a prayer song. The science day was inaugurated in a unique manner by performing the experiment by headmistress a and the science teachers followed by the video played on life of C V Raman and scientific inventions.

Science teachers conducted the science quiz with different rounds on discoveries of C V Raman, inventions in science and on medicinal plants.

The students participated enthusiastically.

Headmistress Sr Gloria encouraged the students to develop scientific attitude and to take interests in scientific research.

Ganavi compered and Melora proposed the vote of thanks.
