Mangaluru: Seminar on 'Learning, Experience & Ideas' to be held at Aloysius Museum on Mar 3

Mangaluru, Mar 1: A day-long seminar on 'Learning, Experience & Ideas' will be organised under the auspices of St Aloysius Museum on March 3 at 3:00 pm in the Aloysius Museum Hall in association with the Kannada department of the college. This is a unique programme related to museology/study of museums which will be held in the museum hall for the first time.

Prof B A Viveka Rai, former vice-chancellor and scholar will deliver a keynote address on 'Archives: Research in the Digital Age'. Kadthilasree S A Krishnaiah, study director, Udupi Oriental Accumulation Research Center will speak on 'Possibilities of Tadole Preservation - Strategy and Ways'.

Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto, rector of St Aloysius Institutions will preside over the programme. Dr Praveen Martis SJ will be present for the programme.

After the seminar, archives and museum enthusiasts and researchers will have an opportunity to view the archives department and the new archives of Gurumane in the museum.
