Mangaluru: Two-day conference held by MBA dept at Srinivas Institute of Technology

Mangaluru, Mar 3: A two-day international conference on 'Sustainable Innovative Strategies for Business Development in Current Scenario' was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil on March 2- 3.

The two-day international conference was inaugurated by Padmashree Alva, director for talent and initiatives at MResults. In her inaugural address she highlighted the impact of technology on various industries and also the requirement of innovation for the development of business in the current scenario.

The formal function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. Dr Habeeb U R Rahman, faculty, college of business administration and head of staff development unit 1, Kingdom University, Bahrain, delivered the Keynote address. HOD of Chemistry department Dr Gopalakrishna Bhat N, was the president of the function. He in his presidential address highlighted the changing technologies. Dr Veena Santhosh Rai, conference coordinator, briefed about the conference. Dr Hariprakash U P welcomed the gathering; Steevan Robert Tellis delivered the vote of thanks. Dr Ajoy S Joseph, hod, MBA department was also present on the occasion. Violet Seema Pinto was the master of ceremony on the occasion. There were 3 sessions for presentations. 30 delegates from India and abroad presented their papers in this international conference.
