Kasaragod, Mar 5: The investigating police team in the case related to the kidnap and murder of gulf employee Aboobacker Siddique, a resident of Mugu, have arrested another accused who was absconding.
The accused arrested is identified as Abdul Jaleel (29), a resident of Paivalike Pallikoodal. He had fled to an overseas country after the murder. As the police got a tip-off that he is returning to India, they arrested him from the Kannur airport.
The number of arrests in this case has risen to eight with this arrest. In total there are 15 accused in the case.
