Mangaluru, Mar 7: A spectacular exhibition on the themes Aqua Culture, Art and craft, Science models, Mathematics,Flora and Fauna was organised at St Agnes CBSE school on March 3. Truly a remarkable day which showcased the talents, creativity, uniqueness, of the students with joint efforts of teachers and parents to make this event a grand success.

The event began with a formal inaugural programme by escorting the dignitaries S M Shivaprakash the former dean and director of Extension College of Fisheries, KVAFSU, Mangalore who was the chief guest. Elizabeth Neeliyara advocate notary and christian marriage registrar Mangalore who was the guest of honour. Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes AC the joint secretary of our Institutions, Kumar Naik the vice president of SWC, Sr Edna Furtado AC, the administrator, Sr Maria Gracilda AC the principal were led by the school band to the venue. The students through mesmerising dance of depicting culture gave a charm at the entrance of the venue depicting the theme of exhibition.

A devotional prayer song was sung by the students followed by a welcome dance. A meaningful skit on the purpose of exhibition with the five important themes was presented by the students.

A floral inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was done in a creative way to mark the beginning of the event.

The chief guest in his addressing note congratulated the students and teachers for the creative presentation. It was indeed a spectacular moment to the audience as he delivered the message through his poems. He shared his deep insight on nature, aquatic world and captured the minds of the audience with his gentle words of wisdom. Elizabeth Neeliyara too shared her thoughts on the hard work and unity showcased to bring out the best by students and teachers. She thanked the principal for the wonderful initiation. The guests were honoured on behalf of management and school for their service to the society.

The formal programme was compered by Ashwitha. A grandeur welcome was given by Neha . Vani proposed the vote of thanks to everyone gathered for their enthusiastic participation.

The dignitaries and the parents and invited guests soon witnessed the immense creativity presented by the students. Each class depicted creativity, neatness and unity of hard efforts. The entire day was witnessed by spectators from neighbouring schools, institutions, guests etc.
The management congratulates the principal, staff and students for exhibiting such meticulous event. Hearty congratulations to the parents for their constant support and encouragement.
