Mangaluru: 'RANG – 2K23' celebrated at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Mar 8: Srinivas University, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Institute of Aviation Studies and department of interior design, Pandeshwar, jointly celebrated 'RANG – 2K23' (Holi festival) on March 7.

Under guidance and blessings of Dr CA A. Raghavendra Rao, honorable chancellor and A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, trustee-member, board of governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, the president of the programme Dr A Srinivas Rao, honorable pro chancellor, Srinivas University, traditionally inaugurated the programme by distributing the colors to the students.

Prof A Mitra S Rao trustee-member, board of governors, Srinivas University, was the chief guest of the programme.

Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Srinivas University and Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (development) of Srinivas University were the guests of honour.

Prof Swaminathan S, dean, Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, and Dr Pavitra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies were also present on the occasion.

The celebration was envisioned to bring the community of students on a common platform and to celebrate the festival of colours. The programme concluded with rain dance, DJ songs and also vibrant play of colours.
