Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School holds kindergarten graduation ceremony

Mangaluru, Mar 11: Graduation is an exciting time, it is both an end and a beginning. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. St Agnes CBSE School celebrated Graduation Day on March 8 to applaud the young enthusiastic learners of kindergarten for their commendable performance.

March 8 is internationally celebrated as the International Women’s Day. It is an important occasion for all of to pause for a moment to reflect on ourselves, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality. Moreover, it is the day to acknowledge all the men and women in the world for making this world a better place for everyone to live in.

The event began with a formal inaugural programme by escorting the dignitaries Dr Lavina M Noronha who was the chief guest. Vasudha S who was the guest of honour. Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes AC, the joint secretary of the institutions, Kumar Naik the vice president of SWC, Sr Edna Furtado AC, the administrator, and Sr Maria Gracilda AC the principal were led by the school band to the venue.

Students of UKG invoke God's blessings through a prayer dance. The occasion was graced by Dr Lavina M Noronha and Vasudha S, Sr Lenita Lobo AC, the vice principal welcome and introduced the chief guest and the gathering, while the students of UKG welcomed everyone through a lively welcome dance. Parents and the graduates shared their heart-warming memories of their kindergarten experience with the audience.

The students of grade 3 performed a dance to the track which depicted the unique qualities of women on the whole.The most important part of the day was the felicitation of the young graduates, where in the delighted tiny tots dressed in graduation robes and capes walked on the stage and were felicited with certificates. Gulobia delivered a heartfelt note of gratitude. Shalet compered the programme. Indeed it was a joyous and memorable day for the little ones and their parents. The programme ended on a string of emotions visible on each other’s face.
