SJEC men's team emerges champions of VTU Mangaluru Division Handball 2022-23

Mangaluru, Mar 11: VTU Mangaluru Division Handball Tournament was organized and hosted by St Joseph Engineering College on March 10.

The chief guest of the programme was Dr Ramananda H S – dean Student Welfare SJEC and Fr Wilfred Prakash D’souza- director SJEC presided over the function.

The tournament was organized for all the engineering colleges of the Mangaluru division. The winners of the tournament were SJEC, Mangaluru and the runners up were SDMIT, Ujire.

The best shooter was awarded to Sathish from SDMIT, Jason Allen Carlo from SJEC was awarded the best goalkeeper and Sharon S Perumayan from SJEC was awarded the best all rounder of the tournament.

The awards and prizes were distributed by Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza- director SJEC and Fr Alwyn Richard D’Souza – assistant director SJEC. Dr Rio D’Souza – principal SJEC, Vaneesha Rodrigues – physical education director SJEC and Sudheer M – assistant physical education director SJEC and Poornesh M - sports advisor SJEC were present during the ceremony.
