Gadkari Doing Better than Me: Rajnath Singh

Daijiworld Media Network - Indore

Indore, Jun 20: Former BJP national chief Rajnath Singh has given full marks to the present BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, praising his leadership as being better than his own.

He termed "All I would like to say is, Gadkari is doing better than I had."

He ruled out any controversy regarding the return of Uma Bharthi to the party. He dismissed reports regarding differences over her comeback, and clarified that everyone has welcomed Uma Bharthi to the party, and now she has been given the poll responsibility of next year's UP election. "I am in touch with UP leaders, and everyone has welcomed the decision," he asserted.

He also ruled out the 'revolt' factor of Gopinath Munde. "BJP is the second largest national party, and such minor hiccups are bound to occur in any political party. We will sort out the issues. Senior leaders are in touch with Munde; he is a senior leader and will abide by the party's opinion, as he promised yesterday," he said.

To a question on Congress terming Yoga guru Baba Ramdev as the mask of the RSS and BJP, he expressed displeasure and alleged that Congress is indulging in such talks as it wants to divert people's attention from issues of corruption and black money stashed in foreign banks.
