Cheaper to be prison guest for six more months than pay six lakhs. By the way, those who paid the bribes and got what they wanted can laugh all the way to the bank. Nobody is going to touch them. Their "ill-gotten" gains (i.e. bribe paid gains) are safe.

Lokayukta should catch big time IAS & such other corrupt officers in Bengaluru. The kind of money these officers are making is unimaginable. Not sure why they are not caught?

The amazing part of this judgement is "If the convict fails to pay Rs 26.50 lac fine, then he has to undergo six months of additional prison sentence." That's tempting like I also want to loot 26 lacks and stay in jail for 6 months. Who can earn 26 lakhs in 6 months!!!!!!
