New Delhi, Jun 20: The Prime Minister will be brought under the purview of Lokpal, but with riders, media reports said.
The final draft of the Lokpal Bill takes a middle path on the issue, CNN-IBN reported, stating that it has access to the document.
"Complaints against the Prime Minister can be entertained but will be investigated only after the Prime Minister leaves office," the report stated.
The government is still adamant that the Prime Minister will not face prosecution like the rest who fall under the Lokpal's ambit.
Tuesday's meeting will discuss the pending issues of the Lokpal Bill before it is sent to the cabinet. Though on Monday both parties claimed that many of the issues were resolved peacefully, consensus on some of the major points still remains elusive.
"There is a difference of opinion on selection and removal of the Lokpal. The government wants to control the selection and fairness of the Lokpal," CNN-IBN quoted Kejriwal.
