Kerala: Minor Girl Sexually Abused by 100 Men, Search for Culprits On

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 21: Yet another case of sexual abuse of a minor has been reported in the country, this time from Kerala, and no less gruesome.
In a shocking revelation, a 14-year-old girl has said that she was sexually exploited by nearly 100 men, including her father.
The girl from Ernakulum district confided in a relative about the way she had been abused, and a complaint to this effect was filed about three months ago.
Chief minister Oomen Chandy said that five police teams have been formed to nab the culprits and already 29 have been arrested. About 71 are still on the loose and search for them is going on in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
"Police is actively probing the case. The government will not allow anyone to escape the law," he said.
A PWD contractor from Tamil Nadu was arrested a couple of days ago, whose car was used to take the girl to a farm house.
The girl told the police her father too was involved in the act, and even let others exploit her. He has done odd roles in Malayalam films, and some of the accused hail from the industry, she said.
The police have ruled out the involvement of politicians.
