Karuna-Kanimozhi have Emotional Reunion at Tihar Jail

New Delhi, Jun 21: 88-year-old DMK supremo Karunanidhi met his 2G scam-tainted daughter Kanimozhi for the second time in the last 30 days in Tihar jail and had an emotional reunion, hardly being able to even talk initially.

Reports stated that Karunanidhi was with his daughter for nearly an hour, accompained by his wife Rajathi Ammal, and son M K Alagiri.

It is also learnt that Karunanidhi met former telecom minister A Raja, and Kailangar TV managing director Sharath Kumar.

It may be recalled that on June 20 the Supreme Court had denied bail to Kanimozhi and asked her to go back to the trial court to apply for the bail.

Both father and daughter emotionally exchaned words, and the former even brought with him his daughter's favourite 'namkeen' from Chennai.

"Don't worry, you will be out soon, you have done no wrong," Karunanidhi reportedly told his daughter before leaving the place.

    Put MK in the prison too with his wheelchair,,, he is the Patriarch of all these corruption with his wheel Chair......

    This is the reason why he was asking 12 union ministerships with 18 LS MPs...........

    It is a heartbreaking scenario that a father with 88 years old went to the jail to meet his daughter who is a responsible citizen holding the responsibility of member of parliament. We pray to God that Ms. Kanimozhi must come out clean and prove her innocence.

    Yes,no doubt,the duo will never worry about anything as they are used to such deceptions.But for the intervention of the Hon. Supreme Court,these scamsters would have deceived and duped the Goddess of Justice and gone scot- free, given the nature of our judicial system which is heavily in favour of the high and mighty. Unless exemplary punishment, including the confiscation of all their ill- gotten wealth, is given, there is going to be no redemption for this country and its honest, suffering millions.
