Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 21: On the eve of the feast day of St Joseph, the patron of Mangalore Diocese and the Jeppu Parish, the parishioners enacted a play "Ragtacho Dudu", written by Fr Ronald Serrao, the rector of St Joseph inter-diocesan seminary Jeppu, directed by Clita Noronha and coordinated by Olwin Miranda, the vice president of Jeppu Parish.

“What Happened to Judas after his death?” was the main question of the play.

The programme started by invoking god's blessings with a prayer song followed by the releasing of books "Sathachi Mahima" written by Fr Ronnie Serrao, which includes three well-known Konkani plays, that were enacted in Jeppu parish previous years, and "Vinsnaar mottvyo kaaniyo" by Eddie Netto and Bishop Emeritus Aloysius Paul D'Souza.

The well-wishers and benefactors were honoured by the parish priest Fr Maxim D'Souza. Bernard D’Souza, the proprietor of Grace Ice Cream parlour refreshed everyone with ice-creams.
