New Delhi, Jun 22: Inspired by an episode from the popular TV Serial CID, a 43-year-old woman and her aide murdered a business man here in Bindapur, Southwest Delhi, earlier this month.

The woman by the name Krishna and her aide have been arrested.

Krishna had paid Rs 1.5 lac to Rakesh Govind More (35) to kill her beau Somnath Suverna.

Krishna had seperated herself from her husband in 2005 and had been staying with her children in Mumbai where she met Suverna.

She claimed that Suverna had been demanding a lot of money from her.

According to police reports, the couple had travelled to Delhi earlier this month. Krishna along with Suverna had been to a room rented by More in Mansa Ram park here in Bindapur where she mixed sleeping pills in Suverna's drink. As soon as he lost consciousness, More who was already present there strangled him to death.

The accused had also disfigured the victim's face by pouring toilet cleaning acid before fleeing to Mumbai.
